TAMPA TAU CHAPTER’s
HUMBLE BEGINNING

The Tampa Tau Chapter “Heart of Florida” began as a Cluster with eight like minded female Veterans with the desire to start a local KEΨ Chapter. These Sorority Sisters established themselves as a Cluster on 7 January 2016 with Chartering members: Ayeisha L. Latta-Matthews, Kenya U. Wicks, Yolanda R. Dean, Ameena Brown, Yolanda D. Molden-Verner, Tammy Myrie, Chastity P. Sullivan, and Tomelya D. Coley.

On 7 June 2016, Nequitta Brown, Chaundra N. Gore, Samara Walker, and Maureen Brewster joined the ranks and helped propel this cluster forward.

During the 5th annual KEΨ Reveille held in Atlanta, GA on 19 August 2016, the Tampa Tau Chapter was chartered. As our Chapter continues to grow, we will continue to focus on honoring our past female service members, uniting our present female service members, and mentoring future leadership of our Armed forces while serving our local communities.
